Beautycon Festival New York 2017

Beautycon Festival New York 2017 took place at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. Beautycon had outgrown their 70,000-square-foot annual festival space at Pier 36 Basketball City. To scale the New York market, entry into the Jacob Javits Center was critical, but unfortunately not as easy as one might think. While lobbying the Javits Center for space, we strategically moved the New York Festival over to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, which has 180,000 square feet of covered space. The largest challenge was that two-thirds of the space was a completely unfinished warehouse without HVAC. Months of planning and truly out-of-the-box thinking transformed the space into the largest Beautycon New York Festival to date with 20,000 attendees, and secured our entry into the Javits Center the following year, where we grew to 30,000 attendees.
